I totally thought I'd be a little better about blogging this week, but there just doesn't seem to be time?
Okay, so this week we had quite a busy week. Chris's first Father's Day was fun. NC helped make brownies.

We had my dad, Sue, Zach and Lindsay over for Cuban burgers, baked beans, chips and brownies.
Wednesday we had some visitors. My friend Angela brought her two girls over and they had fun playing with NC's toys. NC loved watching the girls and hanging out with us.
On Thursday, I got a call from my friend Becky to come swim with her. After NC's nap, we loaded up and headed over. I made the mistake of not putting sunblock on my shoulders... all I can say is OUCH! I DID lather it all over NC. She seems to LOVE the pool. Hopefully she will be a swimmer. Speaking of swimming, I SO want to go swim at the Y and just can't figure out how to fit it into the schedule. Hmmmmm...
I think I told the blogging world that I joined Team In Training and will be completing the San Antonio half marathon with the run/walk team. On that note, I've been walking for two weeks now. I have to go at like 6:30 because it's been so darn hot! BUT, I enjoy my time and spend most of the walk thinking and chatting with "Papa."
I'm currently reading The Shack. I hated it, at the beginning. BUT I pushed on and made myself continue... (for those of you that have read it, I hated reading about Mack's "Great Sadness.") I am almost done (will finish today, I am sure) and am loving it. If you don't know anything about it, it's about a man's (Mack) experience at the Shack with Papa (God the Father), Jesus and Sarayu (Holy Spirit). All I can say is WOW. It's definitely making me examine my own relationship with the Three.
I will try to be better about blogging more during the week. Promise!
